There’s still need to display our pride, even better if it's done in every corner of the city.
During Pride Month Milan is filled with initiatives and events dedicated to the LGBTQI+ community. One of these is the Poster Art exhibition organized by Collater.al magazine with the Orgoglio Porta Venezia Milano association, showcased works by various artists to celebrate the queer community. Unfortunately, it was a great exhibition that not everyone appreciated.
Three days after the homophobic attack, the destroyed posters were re-displayed. This time, not just in a small street in Porta Venezia, but throughout Milan. Those who did not want to see the pride and deep meaning of the posters found themselves encountering them on large OOH displays scattered across the city.
