Going to Lucca is a Squid Game
Every year, the small city of Lucca hosts the biggest entertainment festival in Europe: Lucca Comics and Games. The large number of visitors attracted by the event (almost 800.000 people) makes finding a place to sleep quite challenging and very expensive.
Welcome Players!
Every brand present at the fair has a pavilion to welcome its visitors. But no one has ever had one where you can sleep for free. Until now. So we made it happen: for the first time in Lucca Comics history, we created a Netflix Pavilion inspired by Squid Game that entertains fans during the day and stays open at night, turning into a real dormitory.
The next game is: fight to win a bed.
How do we decide which fans deserve a free bed in our dormitory? Simple: we recruit them just like in the series! Only those who,during the days of Lucca Comics, managed to pass all the challenges of ddakji, marbles and faced the fearsome 'Red Light, Green Light' Doll would earn their well-deserved night of rest.
Not a really “good” night.
A true Squid Game fan knows that nothing good ever happens at night inside the dorm. In fact, Players had to endure sudden nighttime wake-ups, face challenges, punishments, and unexpected eliminations. But even though they got little sleep, we still made their dream come true.
